ISO 45010 in Norway — STÖ Group in SN/K 551
ISO 45010 is being developed as the international standard for menstrual and menopausal health in occupational health and safety management systems. STÖ Group AS is an active contributor through Standard Norge expert committee SN/K 551 — the Norwegian mirror committee for ISO/TC 283.
What ISO 45010 is
ISO 45010 is developed in ISO/TC 283, Working Group 10 (WG 10), and connects menstrual and menopausal health to OHS management systems (the ISO 45001 family).
It gives Norwegian and European employers a recognised framework for documenting readiness without collecting individual health data.
STÖ Group in the Norwegian mirror committee
Standard Norge expert committee SN/K 551 is the Norwegian mirror committee for ISO/TC 283. STÖ Group AS holds a seat and contributes experience from regulated product development, distribution and privacy-by-design technology.
The position gives the group early insight into the standards that will shape requirements for Norwegian and European employers in the coming years.
What ISO 45010 means for OHS practice
Once published, ISO 45010 will let organisations tie ESRS S1 reporting and internal control documentation to an internationally recognised reference standard.
For OHS leads it means biological variation can be handled within existing management systems rather than as a parallel workstream.
